For Bozena’s solo photoshoot in Rio de Janeiro, we combined two of the city’s most iconic locations: Mirante Dona Marta and Copacabana Beach.
We started the session at Mirante Dona Marta, one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in Rio de Janeiro. With panoramic views of the city, Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer, the location creates a dramatic and unforgettable backdrop for portraits.
Later, we continued the session at Copacabana Beach during golden hour, capturing a completely different atmosphere with softer light, ocean views and the classic beach lifestyle that makes Rio so unique.
One of the things I love most about combining locations in Rio is the contrast each place brings to the gallery. From the mountains and city views at Dona Marta to the relaxed energy of Copacabana, the final result feels varied, cinematic and connected to the essence of Rio de Janeiro.
Bozena wanted photos that felt elegant and natural while still showcasing the iconic scenery of the city. Throughout the session, I guided her with simple posing and movement so everything felt relaxed and effortless.
